Christ saves from sins and all earthly ills FREELY....

Believer, this is the crux of the gospel: Righteousness by faith. With God's gift of righteousness through Christ comes no condemnation. It is Christ's "Neither do I condemn you" that makes us "go and sin no more."

Matthew 1:21 says of Him: "She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Come to Him expecting salvation from acts of sin and all of your troubles, even those of your own making. Come without all that baggage of law-keeping, fasts and "good deeds" done to curry His favour. They will only stand in your way of receiving from Him and cut one off from Christ, "For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God's grace." Galatians 5:4.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. He will save you from sin and its wages of death just as He saved the woman caught in adultery: FREELY.

The law condemned the woman as it condemns the best of those who are trying to obey it to be right with God today, "For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands..." Romans 3:20. Even the Pharisees and teachers of religious law who wanted to stone the woman were condemned by the law hence their inability to "cast the first stone." The same thing is happening in many places of worship today: self-righteous leaders with secret sins pointing out the sins of the flock and telling the flock to expect stoning (condemnation and punishment) for their sins in the presence of Jesus Christ who saves from sins!

But Christ did not condemn this sinner woman whose sin the hypocrite Pharisees exposed for the world to see because "God did not send His Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it!" John 3:17!!! He rescued the woman from the consequences of her sins.

Let's take our blessed brains to church. This woman had sinned but Christ said to her "Neither do I condemn you." His gift of "no condemnation" is for sinners. The one that can obey the law by his own power does not need this "no condemnation." But no one can be made right with God by doing what the law commands. All who think their human effort at obedience is what gives them right standing with God stand condemned by the law that they are trying so hard to keep.

Christ took our condemnation. Romans 8:1 says: "Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]."

If the woman had not sinned, she would not have needed Christ's "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." The gift is for sinners, and all have sinned. The law does not understand "I did my best so God will understand and consider me because I have really tried to be obedient." Law and Grace don't mix. All the obedience to the other commandments and charitable deeds done by the sinner woman could not have saved her from certain death. James 2:10 says "For whosoever shall keep the whole law yet stumble at one point, he is guilty of all." In the eyes of the law, the one who only lied to help another is as guilty as the world's vilest offender.

We all need God's saving grace and His gift of righteousness in Christ Jesus. See Romans 5:17-

"17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one Man, Jesus Christ."

This is the only Way to live in triumph over sin and death (sickness, lack, etc are "death begun.")

Also, 2 Corinthians 3:18 says: "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."

Many are concerned about living morally upright lives but the law or law-keeping cannot transform anybody. The letter kills. In Christ, the Holy Spirit transforms us. Beware of preachers of a false doctrine. Such disregard the power of the Holy Spirit to transform you to the "image of the glory of the Lord, from glory to glory" but tell you to transform yourself using the arm of flesh (human effort at obeying the Ten Commandments, doing good things and paying tithe) that is bound to fail!

Friend, come to Christ as you are and He will save you from your sins. He will give you His "no questions asked" salvation just as He did to all who came to Him for healing, provision and deliverance when He walked the earth as Man.

He will never demand that you first go and fast for 40 days or sow seed in exchange for His healing, deliverance and provision. See His Way throughout the gospels. He will never ask you if you have been keeping the Ten Commandments before He saves you from all that troubles you, including your sins and addictions. In fact, those who felt they could keep the law (the Pharisees and teachers of religious law) could not receive from Him. He came for the sick...

With Christ, God gives us ALL things FREELY. No "trade by barter" arrangement of "play your part" before our heavenly Father blesses us with His goodness. See Romans 8:32-

"He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"

Our part is to believe, and even this we do by grace; see John 6: 43-46 (MSG)

"Jesus said, “Don’t bicker among yourselves over Me. You’re not in charge here. The Father who sent Me is in charge. He draws people to Me—that’s the only way you’ll ever come. Only then do I do my work, putting people together, setting them on their feet, ready for the End."

Christ does it all for all who believe (have only Him as their righteousness and strength.) Just come to Him as you are. Tell Him now that you don't know what to do or where to start. Ask Him to show you His salvation. He is The Good Shepherd. He wants nothing more than for you to be His sheep so He can care for you.

Come to Him as you are. Tell Him now that you don't know what to do or where to start. Ask Him to show you His salvation. He is The Good Shepherd. He wants nothing more than for you to be His sheep so He can care for you.

Right believing always produces right living.
