Christ saves from sin and death.

Believer, your sins and messes can NEVER make Jesus turn His back on you! Titus 2:14 says of Him-

"He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds."

Also see Matthew 1:21- She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Let's take our blessed brains to church: how can our Saviour who came to save us from our sins use those very sins that He gave His life to free us from as an excuse for not saving us from them? This is akin to an oncologist dad refusing to treat his own beloved child who has cancer because the child has cancer.

Beware of false preachers who put the burden of your salvation from sin and death on you - those who hear the gospel of God's saving Grace and try to add things like "....but you still have to play your part by doing your best to whatever" to God's Grace. These people are simply echoing Satan's words to Eve in the Garden of Eden. The arm of flesh (human striving at being godly aka "be like God") will fail.

The more sins, sickness, lack, fear, depression or whatever earthly ill we have, the more of "Saviour" Christ is to us when we trust wholly in Him to save us from them all. He saves us not because we sowed a seed, kept the Law, tried to be godly or did anything that involves the arm of flesh (human striving) that will fail but FREELY: Romans 8:32-

"He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"

The spirit of the antichrist is not anti-God. Its carriers are all about living a godly and sinless life but they try to remove or replace Christ as Saviour from sin and death with human striving at obedience aka the arm of flesh that will fail. Such condemn you for your sins when John 3:17 tells us that Christ did not come to condemn but to save. Such say you are to save yourself from your sins or expect punishment when Matt. 1:21 says of Christ "...for He will save His people from their sins." So much more.

For example, my mom told me of an experience where a preacher called on believers who were looking to God for children to come out for special prayers. The preacher's question to one of these beloved of God was:

"Have you been paying your tithes regularly?"

The sufferer's response was "no." The preacher proceeded to attribute the woman's barrenness to "not paying tithes" and said that her past prayers were like heaping curses on her own head because she had not been paying her tithe! Believers, this is the antithesis of Christ! Antichrist! Christ never asked the woman caught in adultery if she had been paying her tithes before He saved her from certain death. Christ never asked ANY of those that He healed, saved and delivered if they had obeyed the law or paid their tithes before showing them His salvation. He FREELY gave and they FREELY received. The same yesterday, today and forever still FREELY gives to all who come to Him today to FREELY receive. God gives us ALL things FREELY with Christ:

"He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" Romans 8:32.

The reason why many are not freely receiving (even salvation from sins and addiction) is because many have been deceived into thinking that God is not freely giving. Many think that to receive from God, one has to fast, sow seed, be a certain way and keep the Ten Commandments first. But what qualifies us for God's Grace is our imperfections and belief in Jesus Christ as Saviour. Only then can we produce good works.

Good works are EVIDENCES of our salvation in Christ, not CONDITIONS. In Christ, God fills us to overflowing with His goodness and mercy so much that with what is spilling over we can't help but be a blessing to those around us. In Christ, we get to love, live a life of moral excellence and give even beyond the lawful regulation of the tithe, yet not us but Christ in us. This is why we sing "Tis no longer I that liveth but Christ that liveth in me."

He blesses the undeserving who trust wholly in Him for salvation and who put no confidence in the arm of flesh (human effort at obedience.) He saves us from sin, all earthly ills and death and transforms all who believe in Him to live right: Romans 5:16-17:

"And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one Man, Jesus Christ."

Right believing always produces right living.
