Jesus Christ the Light of the world shines to save sinners from sins, condemnation and judgment/wrath.

Beloved of God, Jesus Christ the Light of the word does not shine to condemn sinners or expose sinners to judgment. He shines to save sinners from sins, condemnation and judgment, just as He did with the woman that was caught in adultery.

To the sinner who sees himself as having no righteousness of his own and looks to Christ for salvation from sin and death, He is Saviour. For the sinner woman, the law, wielded by her accusers, brought her to the end of her tether. She was guilty. She knew it. This is the purpose of the law that many are being deceived into trying to keep in order to be godly (be like God) - to point out that the whole world is guilty before God:

"19 Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God. 20 For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are." Romans 3.

The woman's religious, "good and law-full" accusers (the Pharisees) were just as guilty as she was, but they were in denial, like many in the church today who think that their law-keeping and good works can get them somewhere with God or that their sins are "not that bad" so God will understand. Here's the truth in James 2:10-

"For whosoever shall keep the whole Law yet stumble at one point, he is guilty of all."

Not fair to many, until our eyes are opened to see that no sin is beneath anybody. The potential to commit heinous crimes is in everybody. God sees this potential and how favourable circumstances can make some people say things like "I can never do that," just like Peter before he denied Christ copiously. Time and Chance do not conduct SWOT analysis before dumping crushing weights on anybody. The reason why we are not committing particular sins is because God did not allow us to get tested beyond what we can bear (1 Corinthians 10:12-13.)

Another example: the reason why marriages that are still together are so is because God did not allow a big enough weight and pressure to come crashing their way. Our boast is in Christ alone and not some human effort-driven "Seven Steps" that we follow religiously. His power in us what makes us able to follow and endure.

There was NOTHING that the sinner woman could have done by her own power to save herself from her well-deserved judgment, as we too can do nothing to save ourselves from sin and death today- except be utterly dependent on Christ like the sinner woman. Thought to clarify that "law" is anything that one does with a view to getting God to bless, save or like them. Only in Christ the Beloved are we accepted/highly favoured. Only in Him do we get to live right.

So by God's Grace, beware of antichrist pastors who lead churchgoers on the wild goose chase of trying to get freedom from sins and from the curse of the law including generational curses (punishment for sins) with their prescriptions of 70 days fast and other useless human effort-driven activities aka keeping the Law to "get right with God" so that He can bless- Christ has won it all for us who believe. Such "pastors" are even worse off and spew worse poison than the self-righteous Pharisees who knew better than to indulge in such worthless activities that only strengthens Satan's grip on the lives of those who try as we see in the death of Judas. The shedding of blood is required for the remission of sins-

"In fact under the Law almost everything is cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness [neither release from sin and its guilt, nor cancellation of the merited punishment]." Hebrews 9:22.

But what do you have, you Christ-professor that is trying to get God to bless you and escape His wrath through your useless attempts at obeying the law/doing its works and thus have been cut off from Christ:

"For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the Law you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God's Grace." Galatians 5:4.

Think of our union with Christ and our bearing fruit to God in terms of marriage as Paul explained it in Romans 7. One has to choose a person to be "under" in the bid to give birth to the fruit of godliness:

It's either one is under Mr. "Law" as given by Moses, doing ALL that he commands 100% with no deviation whatsoever. Mr. Law will not hesitate to punish his wife with death should his coffee not be the right temperature or if the clock is set at one millisecond too slow;

or

One is under Mr. "True Grace" who is Christ Himself of whom it is written in Titus 2:14- "He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds."

In Romans 7, we see that having a simultaneous relationship with Mr. Law (who demands 100% PERFECT obedience from "no good" man) and Mr.Grace (who transforms even the vilest offender to godliness and right living) is ADULTERY. Neither cold nor hot. And having a relationship with Mr. Law in the bid to bear fruit to godliness is the way to get cut off from Mr. Grace- Christ Himself-

"For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the Law you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God's Grace." Galatians 5:4

Beloved of God, Grace is a Person. His name is Jesus Christ. Titus 2:11 says of Him: "God’s marvelous grace has manifested in person, bringing salvation for everyone."

By Grace, don't let any law-toting devourer's agent in pastor's clothing bully you or drive you into the snare of Satan the Accuser and consequently guilt, condemnation and judgment with that horrid antichrist teaching that says:

"Yes you have Grace but at least you still have to try to be good by your own power..."

Christ says "There is none good but God." Yet man professes to be able to generate godly characteristics (be like God) by his own power. Yet here are "men of God" preaching the same false doctrine that Satan preached to Eve in Eden! Recall that Satan did not tempt Eve to fornicate or lie. Satan deceived her into trying to be godly (be like God) by her own human strength. This false doctrine has permeated many places of worship where Christ is being professed, but not believed. Believer, by Grace, let's not be found following such. Their part-Law/part-Grace mixture false doctrine is the "neither cold nor hot" that Christ speaks of in Revelation 3.

Jesus Christ the Light of the world is "the same yesterday, today and forever." He is still saving HELPLESS SINNERS WHO KNOW THAT THEY HAVE NO GOOD IN THEM from sins, condemnation and judgment, just as He did with the accused woman. He saves freely and without asking whether we paid tithe, kept the Ten Commandments or whether our grandfather's goat ate somebody's yam. And in Him, we never remain the same:

"And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one Man, Jesus Christ." Romans 5:16-17.

Right believing always produces right living.
