In Christ, God is not counting our sins against us

Beloved of God, consider God's word in 2 Corinthians 5:19 (AMP)-

"that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them [but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God]."

Believer, God Himself is telling us that in Christ, He is not counting our sins against us. This Truth is usually hard to swallow for those who, like Peter before he denied Christ, erroneously think that they are doing a good job of being sinless. Beloved, the reason why we are not wallowing in sins is because God did not allow us to get tempted beyond what we can bear.

Christ had no sins of His own when He died on the cross for us. It was our entire lifetime of sins that He died for, and His death is a ONCE  for all time death, never to be repeated (Hebrews 9:27.) Jesus is not going to come and die again for the sins that we might commit tomorrow. Man sees this truth as "license to sin" but God whose ways and thoughts are higher than man's calls it the Way to live in triumph over sin and death:

"And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one Man, Jesus Christ." Romans 5:16-17.

Beloved, Christ had no curse when He hung on the cross for us. His hanging was to redeem us from every curse, generational or otherwise. There is nothing like generational or other curse in the life of a believer in Christ so beware of antichrist pastors who exalt themselves against the knowledge of God when they tell you to come and break curse that Christ has redeemed all who believe from (Galatians 3:13.)

Christ had no sickness or disease of His own. His body was torn and mangled to make us whole. It is by His stripes that we are healed, not His stripes and a mixture of things that we do to get God to see that we are "at least trying." Because of His finished work at the cross, God sees us as righteous through and through. Romans 5:9 says of His heart for we who are in Christ:

"And there is still much more to say of His unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in My sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God."

This righteousness in God's sight is a gift borne of the shed blood of Jesus. It is not a function of our own useless attempts at being sinless or keeping the law in order to be righteous/godly. In Christ, God sees us as righteous, even though we are guilty of many sins (Romans 5:16.) Man’s wisdom sees this Truth as license to sin but the Word of God whose ways and thoughts are higher than man’s says it is the Way to live in triumph over sin and death.

Being declared righteous in God's sight through Christ is NOT a small matter at all. In this state, every single blessing that is in God's word is ours- freely. Undeserved. Unearned. Unmerited. Proverbs 10:6 says:

"Blessings are upon the head of the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence."

See the New Living Translation: "The godly are showered with blessings; the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions."

In God's sight, Christ's blood is the ONLY difference between "the righteous" and "the wicked." The wicked are not necessarily people who go about doing the violence of committing murder and other heinous sins. Words also kill. Recall the word:

"the letter (law) kills?"

"The wicked" include those who spew from their violence-filled mouths deathly words from even church pulpits- the same seemingly good but deathly words that Satan preached to Eve in Eden: that man can and should strive to be righteous/godly by human effort at keeping the law which kills and gives the knowledge of good and evil like a certain tree. This twisted lie of Satan is being taught in many places today. In fact, this is what many believe to be Christianity. Beloved, the result of following this lie is still the same as it was in the time of Adam and Eve: sin has dominion (Romans 6:14) and death reigns (Romans 5:19.)

No matter how obedient and sins-free one tries to be, no matter the days of fasting, no matter how much one pays tithe, anyone who expects God to bless him because of what he did and not what Christ has done is "the wicked" and will experience God's wrath. Any churchgoer who thinks that God is counting his sins against him is the wicked. Beloved, let's not be found here. This is the message of Christ:

"...God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them [but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God]."

In Christ, those sins and addictions of yours that false pastors say are a barrier to God hearing and aswering your prayers, Christ paid the penalty for them all, AND not so that we should continue to wallow in sins as antichrist pastors love to imply. If you have sins, Christ is Helper/Saviour, not accuser. This is what He is doing in the life of every believer-

"He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds." Titus 2:14.

Imagine extinguising a lit matchstick (sins) with the force of an infinite number of huge fire extinguishers (Grace.) Grace does exceedingly, abundantly and above that and all that we can ever ask or imagine. In Him, God sees us as righteous, "even though we are guilty of many sins." This means that God sees us as having kept the entire law. It means that every single blessing that is accruing to the righteous, including all of the blessings of Deuteronomy 28 is ours in Christ, all without us lifting a finger.

Since all of this is true, why then are so many churchgoers not experiencing God's freely-given blessings in Christ? Beloved, it is because many are trying to "pay" God for or earn with their might the very same things that He gave His own Son for us to freely have, and pay with useless human effort/arm of flesh-driven works of seeds, fasts and endless days on "the mountain." Isaiah 64:6 describes those (self-)righteous works thus:

"We are all like one who is unclean, all our so-called righteous acts are like a menstrual rag in Your sight."

Galatians 3:10 says of all who think that their efforts at obeying the law in order to get right with God matter: “Anyone who tries to please God by obeying the Law is under a curse. The Scriptures say, “Everyone who doesn’t obey everything in the Law is under a curse.”

No one can obey everything (Romans 3:20.) And there is no middle-ground here. One cannot call Christ "Saviour" while depending on useless fasts, seeds and silly efforts at keeping the law in order to be right God or get Him to bless. That is curse ground. It's either totally self-effort or totally Christ. It is either Death through trying to be godly by obeying the letter that kills or Life through utter trust and dependence on Christ as Saviour. The Lord God Himself counsels us to choose life in Deuteronomy 30—

19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice, and hold fast to Him.”

There is no middle-ground of  “Yes we are saved by Grace but at least we still have to try to obey the law....” Galatians 5:4 tells us:

"For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God's Grace."

Beloved, those same lawful activities that Satan's agents behind pulpits lead the flock to indulge in in order to ginger God to bless, those are the barriers to receiving from God. Such bypass Christ whose blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins and tell you to approach God directly with sacrifices of works done and human onedience. This is an effort in futility according to Romans 3:20-

"For no one can  ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are."

Anyone approaching and expecting God to bless him because of his own obedience and useless fasts and seeds has "bypassed" Christ. He has been cut off from Christ whose blood redeems from sin, so his sin remains. And God's righteousness demands that He punishes sin to the uttermost: Death preceded by its symptoms of earthly ills such as stupid mistakes, anxiety, depression, sickness, poverty, etc. This is why many churchgoers are stil held captive by sin and fear, always looking over their shoulder in fear of Satan's attack- hopping from one deliverance service/holy ghost convention to another trying to earn salvation from sins and earthly ills that God FREELY gave up His own Son for us to have. FREELY. Hebrews 12:2‭-‬3 says:

"fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

Because of false teaching, many churchgoers have grown weary, are discouraged and have lost heart: their eyes are on their own obedience, fasts and seeds and not fixed on  Jesus. But do you know how to fix your eyes on Jesus? Christ explains it in John 3:14-17-

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,  that whoever believes in Him should not perish but  have eternal life.  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

The affected Israelites saw their utter helplessness to save themselves. They looked to the bronze serpent (Christ's finished work at the cross) and were saved from the snake sting within (sin nature inherited from Adam.) They were made whole (saved) from the snake venom's deathly symptoms (for us, sins, addiction that lead to death.)

Unlike the Israelites, many churchgoers are trying to get rid of their symptoms (acts of sin that lead to death; earthly ills like sickness and unemployment are "death begun") by themselves. This is as useless as the affected Israelites fasting, sowing seed, promising to obey the law or doing anything at all in order to get God to save them. God already provided His Salvation for us: Christ lifted up for our salvation from sin and death.

False pastors preach that you should depend on your obedience, fasts and seeds in order to be godly/be made whole like God. But how can one walk uprightly under the influence of the fiery serpent's sting?  Only by fixing our eyes on Jesus Christ as the Israelites did the bronze serpent do we have wholeness/godliness. God gave us His own Son to free us from the sting of the fiery snakes (sin nature) and its deathly symptoms (acts of sin that lead to death.) Only by freely receiving the benefits of Christ lifted up at the cross can one walk uprightly. When your believing is right, right living will follow.

By God's grace, may everyone reading this be loosed from the hold and teachings of those "pastors" who propagate Satan's doctrine of "do your best to be righteous/godly like God" in Jesus' name. Amen.

Beloved, in Christ, God is not counting our sins against us. He sees us as righteous through and through and "Blessings are upon the head of the righteous..." If you are struggling with sins, know that Saviour from sins is His work-Matthew 1:21.

"She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Unlike antichrist pastors who misrepresent Him, will never condemn or tell you things like "How can God bless you when you are still committing xyz sins?" He will save you and keep on saving you from every kind of sin, no matter how vile. This is Grace- undeserved, unearned, unmerited favour. Antichrist pastors always preach that one should be cautious about Grace but beloved of God, Grace is a Person. His name is Jesus Christ. Titus 2:11 says of Him:

"God’s marvelous grace has manifested in person, bringing salvation for everyone."

Verse 14 of the same Titus 2 says: "He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds."

Grace- Christ Himself- is the Medicine for the sickness of sins. It is in the best interest of Satan and his "pastor" agents to keep the flock focused on their own obedience and what they can do to get God to bless. They know that this is how to get cut off from Grace who saves from sins and keep churchgoers locked down in a cycle of sins, guilt, condemnation and death preceded by its symptoms of earthly ills.

Beloved, in Christ, God is "Father" to us. Think what you wouldn't do for your own children and freely too, even when they are nasty. Can you imagine a truck barreling down a road that your child is on and you ignoring your child because you've warned him several times not to play on the road? Never! You will put every measure in place to keep him safe from danger and train him in the way that he should go. In fact, his good behaviour or lack of it is a function of the training that he receives from you. How much more our Father in heaven who trains we His children in the Way that is Christ? Yet someone who does not know our heavenly Father in Christ will come and tell us that our own Father will not hear and deliver us from trouble unless we first sow seed, fast and keep the Ten  Commandments!  Or that He will not give us our Daily Bread (all we need for the day) unless we first pay for it with seed and deliverance service!

God's word says "the arm of flesh (human effort at being godly) will fail." Let's not fall for that seemingly good but antichrist doctrine of:

"Yes we are saved by Grace but at least we still have to try...."

Beloved of God, if you are trying, you have been cut off from Christ (Galatians 5:4.)

It is a finished work that Christ has done in remitting our entire lifetime of sins so by Grace, reap the benefits of God's goodness. He Himself will transform you to perfection.  I simply cannot imagine my own child expecting that he has to weep, grovel and beg me from the top of a hill in the middle of the night before I lavish even unnecessary gifts on him. Training him up to be responsible is my work. He cannot train himself. This same  child of mine is always so eager to give and to share. Beloved, in Christ, our right living and giving is a function of God's Grace in action in our lives. When you know that you are freely receiving, you will freely give.

By God's grace, let's stop our silly efforts of sowing seed and doing all sorts of things in order to get right with God and rest in Christ's finished work; let's stop that "trade by barter" insult of doing all sorts to get God save us from the same sins, addictions, perpetual laziness, unemployment, working so hard and having little or nothing  to show for it, sickness, anxiety, depression, lack and death that God gave His own Son to save us from. See His counsel to us in Isaiah 30:15-17

"God, the Master, The Holy of Israel,
    has this solemn counsel:
“Your salvation requires you to turn back to Me
and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves.
Your strength will come from settling down
    in complete dependence on Me—..."

Rest in Christ is not inactivity. Rest in Christ is Holy Spirit-directed activity. In Him, we get to freely receive and so we freely give.

Right believing  always produces right living
