In Christ, you are free from generational and all other curses

Believers, please run far away from any church or preacher that tells you things like "your great-grandfather's goat that killed his neighbour's chicken is the reason why you cannot conceive." In essence, churches where it is preached that a believer in Christ is still subject to generational or other curses. They are preaching the Law which DID NOT come through Christ and which kills.

With Christ as our righteousness, saved by grace through faith and forsaking our own righteousnesses which come from works of the Law, every curse is broken. Under Law is where the curse remains. In Christ, we are not under law but under grace. There is no curse, generational or otherwise, on we who are in Christ; we who have Him as our Righteousness. But the one who believes that it is his law-keeping and good works that makes Him right with God is under law and thus subject to the curse. The curse of the Law, including generational curses, is on those who are under Law and not under Grace. Galatians 3:10 tells us so-

"For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the law, to perform them.”

Romans 3:20 shows us the futility of trying to abide by all things written in the book of the Law "20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin."

All efforts at keeping the Law only reflect "Guilty! Condemned! Cursed!" Including generational curses. And because such people are trying to keep the Law in order to be right with God, Christ becomes of no effect to them. "For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, youhave been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace." Galatians 5:4

Works or deeds of the Law is anything one does or does not do in order to obtain right-standing with God or receive from Him. Those here reject the right-standing that Christ died that we may have with God, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:21 " For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

Remember Numbers 14:18 - ‘The Lord is slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generations.’ This is according to the Law of Moses whose curse Christ came to redeem us from.

Our loving Father saw how hopelessly cursed and "generationally" cursed we all were and made His Son to become a curse for us, because He loved us so. The generational and other curses that we were fated to bear Christ became for us, as it is written in Galatians 3:13 - "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."

For most capital offenses covered by Jewish Law, stoning was the form of punishment, not crucifixion. Under the Mosaic Law, those who were hanged on a tree were cursed by God (Deut. 21:22-23) Jesus took the curse of the Law upon Himself to redeem us from the curse. His hanging on the tree (cross) for you and I was no coincidence. It was to redeem us from every curse, including generational curses.

This is how the curse of the Law, including generational curses, can still hold sway in the life of a Christian: by that Christian's unbelief concerning what Christ has done (redeemed us from the curse of the Law.) This unbelief is usually expressed in prayers that go "I break every generational curse of my father's house in Jesus' name," usually after fasts done to make the prayer more effective!

Imagine your kids asking you to pay their school fees for the term and refusing to believe that you have paid their fees for a lifetime, even after you showed them the receipt! These ones profess Christ but do not believe His finished work. In essence, they neither believe in Christ, nor know His love, even though they profess Christ.

Beloved of God, by His grace, don't be found in this situation. God loves you and wants you to enjoy the fullness of His love. 1 John 4:17 says

"Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world."

This day of judgment is not the Judgment Day when books will be opened but the day when the Accuser, Satan (prosecutor at law in Hebrew) accuses you of the sins you and your fathers have committed and demands that God's righteous judgment (including generational curses and all other curses) fall on you! His accusations can also come from the pulpit! This is the only power that the devil has: using the Law which is righteous and by which none can be made righteous to condemn. For those who are not under Law but under Grace, he has been DISARMED. See Colossians 2:13-15.

Remember Isaiah 54:17 - ""No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord"

The weapons and tongues are the accusations of the Accuser, the fiery darts of the wicked one that aim to put even believers in a place of condemnation so judgment can fall on them. Notice that this promise of the devil's failure and condemnation in your life is an inheritance (heritage) for those whose righteousness is from the Lord. It cannot be earned by law-keeping or fasting or whatever it is you think you can do to make God help you. All our own righteousnesses are like menstrual rags according to Isaiah

With Christ as your righteousness, forsaking the useless ways that false preachers lead many on (such as telling you to fast and do other stuff to break generational curses and such that Christ already delivered us from,) the accusations cannot prosper and the devil will flee from you.

If you are yet to see Jesus (our Salvation) as He is, they will only make things worse. Ask Him to show you the Way. "As He is, so are we in this world." Here in this world. Right now. Today. Not when we get to heaven.

Is Christ sick? Is Christ barren? Is Christ fearful? Is Christ unrighteous? IS CHRIST SUBJECT TO GENERATIONAL CURSES? NEVER. And in Him, neither are we. As He is, so are we in this world.

By His grace, don't worry if you see any symptoms. Remember Galatians 3:5 "Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—"

Keep hearing the word of faith (not the Law which kills) and you will experience God's Salvation and miracles.

Remember, "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:10.
Salvation here covers salvation from eternal damnation and every sin, addiction, sickness, disease, whatever earthly ill. As the righteousness of God in Christ, confess your salvation in Christ and see it. Like our heavenly Father in Christ said "Light, be" at the beginning of creation and there was light, confess the miracle you want to see and you will see it. As Christ is, so are we in this world.

The Holy Spirit will Spirit will teach you all things.
Believe Right and you will Live Right
