"In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."

Believers, Isaiah 30:15 says "For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: “In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength. But you would not,"

See the MSG version:
"God, the Master, The Holy of Israel, has this solemn counsel: “Your salvation requires you to turn back to me and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on me— The very thing you've been unwilling to do"

Glory be to the Lord who has called us to Salvation in Christ and leads us to depend solely on Him. On our own we would not, so in His grace and mercy, He has caused us to see the Light!

Is there any situation that puts a weight on your shoulders today, even fear? Let go and let Him deal with it for you. Our strength comes from total dependence on Him. But how does one just let go and stop worrying when the problem is still looming large? We find our answer in Romans 10:10 –
“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

When you voice out your righteousness in Christ which you believe in your heart, salvation follows. Salvation here is not just being saved to go to heaven; it is also deliverance from the molestation of enemies and redemption from all earthly ills - worry, anxiety, oppression, depression, lack, whatever it is that bugs you. It is being saved from the pleasure, power and penalty sin! The word used in the original Greek translation of the New Testament is Swthria (pronounced soteria) and it encompasses all these meanings. That is our Jesus (Yeshua =Salvation)!

When you speak out your righteousness in Christ that you believe in your heart, every single blessing that is for the righteous in the bible becomes yours, including our Lord's peace that surpasses all understanding! Like Christ, you will be able to sleep through any sudden and furious storm while others panic like the disciples in Matthew 8:23-27, yet not you but Christ in you.

The fiery darts (evil thoughts and accusations) which are the weapons of the Accuser designed to make you worry and be afraid in the face of danger will fail in your life because – Isaiah 54:17:
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the LORD.

Notice that this blessing is not earned by fasting and prayer or any "silly effort to save yourself." It is an inheritance (heritage) for those whose righteousness is from the Lord, not their efforts at keeping the law or pleasing Him. Believe Right. Confess your righteousness in Christ and all the promises attached to it and you will experience it!

You mean so much to Him that He died so that you can live the abundant life. He loves us so.

Believe Right and you will Live Right!
