In Christ, God the Just is satisfied to look on Christ and pardon you...forever.

When payment is made to a creditor on your behalf, who must be satisfied? You or the creditor? The creditor of course! Believers, we were all debtors to God until He lovingly gave up His own Son as payment for ALL of our sins. He is fully satisfied with this payment. Every sin debt we owed - past, present and future - has been wiped away by Christ's "single sacrifice for sins,..." See Hebrews 10:12-

"But our High Priest offered Himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then He sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand."

Believer, Christ's one time sacrifice has overpaid the wages of our entire lifetime of sins. He is not going to come and die again for our sins. Romans 4:25 says-

"who was delivered up because of our offences, and was raised up because of our being declared righteous."

See the TPT- "Jesus was handed over to be crucified for the forgiveness of our sins and was raised back to life to prove that He had made us right with God!"

God raised Jesus from the dead BECAUSE we have been declared righteous. All of our entire lifetime of sins FORGIVEN and every demand of the Law fulfilled for all who believe in Christ Jesus: Hebrews 9 says:

"27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many...."

The wages of sin is death. One death for our lifetime of sins. Christ died that death. One death covering our lifetime of sins. Christ was offered ONCE to bear the burden of all our sins. This is God's written word but many DISBELIEVE GOD and preach that believers' sins that Christ was crucified for are still hanging unpaid somewhere and God will not forgive until we go and fast, do restitution or sow seed to be forgiven. Judas tried to do restitution and he died.

According to Hebrews 12, our heavenly Father in Christ corrects us for "our profit," that we might "live" and so that we can be "partakers of His holiness"; His correction yields "the peacable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." Notice that His correction does not yield sickness, lack, depression, accidents, fear and all the horrid things that Christ suffered and died to redeem us from.

Would you kill your child or infect him with a virus if he sneaked your car out and got into an accident? Would you say 'serves you right' and leave him to his fate? You'd probably be glad that he came out alive and do all you can to make sure he recovers from any injuries very quickly. If we humans know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more our Father in heaven, who gave His own Son to die for us. In Hebrews 8,  our Lord says "I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more." Believer in Christ, our Abba is looking for every excuse to bless us, not beat us! He swore that He will never be angry with us or rebuke us- Isaiah 54:9!

Believer, God our Father is fully satisfied with the payment that Christ made for our sins. Romans 5:9 says of Him:

"And there is still much more to say of His unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in My sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God."

By seeing ourselves as our heavenly Father sees us in Christ, we are being transformed. As we continue to see ourselves through the mirror of God's Word (Christ Himself: Grace-personified) and not through the Law (which Romans 3:20 says was given to show us how sinful we are,) we are being transformed by His Spirit: 2 Corinthians 3:18-

"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."

Only imperfect people need transformation. The one who can transform himself to "be like God" by will-power and human striving (arm of flesh) at obeying the Law does not need the Spirit of the Lord to transform him. With Christ as our righteousness, we are 100% righteous in the sight of God our Father (Romans 5:9) and "so lovely" to Jesus Christ our Shepherd-King (Song of Songs 1:5.) In Christ, we have God's super-abounding Grace and His gift of righteousness by which we get to live in triumph over sin and death through Jesus Christ: Romans 5:16-17:

16 “And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one Man, Jesus Christ.”

But because many of us don't feel or even know this satisfaction that God Who so loved the world has through the finished work of Christ for us, many are trying to attain righteousness that Christ died that we might have by doing good works, keeping the Law and doing restitution in order to get right with God and get Him to bless. This is akin to telling God that what Jesus did at the cross is not enough! This has dire consequences too:

"For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God's grace." Galatians 5:4.

Sin also has dominion here, "For sin shall not have dominion over you for you are not under law but under Grace." But many churchgoers have this verse backwards.

Believer, in Christ, we are God's beloved, forever righteous in His sight. He is well pleased with us not because of our own obedience but because of Christ's obedience. His word says in Romans 5:19-

"By one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous."

Believer, Jesus is our restitution. He restored what He did not take. This is Grace- undeserved, unmerited favour. With Christ, God gives us all things FREELY and not because we keep the Law, sow seed or undertake any "trade by barter" arrangement in order to ginger Him to bless. See Romans 8:32-

"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"

This is why the Pharisees (whose righteousness proceeded from self aka law-keeping) remained blind and could not receive from our Lord Jesus Christ when He walked the earth as Man. But notorious sinners followed Him and never remained the same.

Believers, because we are in Christ, we are automatically God's beloved children in whom He is well pleased. Nothing to do with what we do or do not do. He loves us so! No longer under the old covenant but under the New Covenant of Grace and Truth in Christ, where our sins and lawless deeds are no longer remembered by our Heavenly Father (Hebrews 10.) It is Christ's "neither do I condemn you" that makes us "go and sin no more."

Believe Right and you will Live Right!
