but where sin increased, God's grace increased much more."

When a believer sins, "God's grace increased much more", not so that we should continue to wallow in sins but that we should live in triumph over sin. Grace stops sin. We see an example in the lives of Peter and Judas. Both committed sins of betraying Jesus and both felt remorse for what they did. Judas tried to do restitution for himself as the law demands but he died. The letter kills. But Peter did not try to redeem himself. He received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness and the cowardly reed who denied Jesus three times was transformed by the Holy Spirit to a bold believer who publicly preached a sermon where 3,000 people got saved- right in the presence of those who previously put fear in him and were still trying to kill him.

See Romans 5:20- "Law was introduced in order to increase wrongdoing; but where sin increased, God's grace increased much more."

Try to obey the law to get right with God and sin will increase, "For sin shall not have dominion over you for you are not under law but under Grace." Romans 6:14.

Believer, receive God's abundance of Grace and His gift of righteousness to us in Christ and you will live in triumph over sin and death. God's word says so. See Romans 5:17-

"For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one Man, Jesus Christ."

Believer, ask the Lord to rid your heart and mind of every wrong doctrine/theology and open the eyes of your heart to His Grace. He answers when we call.

Right believing always produces right living.
