Under Grace is where "no weapon formed against you shall prosper"

Believers, don't be deceived by false preachers. In Christ, we are not under law but under grace. Only under grace does sin not have dominion over us.

Whatever the Law says, it says to those who are under the Law, not to you under Grace. Be for the Law for the purpose for which the Law was given: to show everyone up as guilty before God and not to keep as our standard of righteousness.

Romans 3:19 says:
"Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God."

Galatians 3:19 says:
"Why, then, the Law [what was its purpose]? It was added [after the promise to Abraham, to reveal to people their guilt] because of transgressions [that is, to make people conscious of the sinfulness of sin], ..."

The Law was given to show us how sinful we are.

Believers, we are not under law but under grace where sin does not have dominion over us. The Law was given to show us all up as guilty before God, not for us to keep in order to attain righteousness. The Law gives sin its power over those under the Law. (Romans 10:10.) Sin has dominion over such so they will continue to sin for as long as they try to keep the law. See Romans 7:5.

The law says to those who try to live by it "Cut off from Christ! (See Gal. 5:4) Guilty! Condemned! Cursed!" Satan the Accuser knows very well these things and does his best to keep believers focused on trying to achieve the impossible - keeping the Law to get right with God. Why? Only here can his accusations (weapons formed and tongues that rise against believers in judgment) prosper, even in the lives of some "Christians" who go about professing Christ without believing Him. It takes believing in our Lord Jesus Christ to be saved.

But how can one profess Christ yet not believe Him?

Remember Romans 5:19 "For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous." Those who profess Christ without believing Him don't believe this word of God. Rather, they believe that they are made righteous by keeping the Ten Commandments and doing "good works," thus rejecting the gift of righteousness that Christ died that we might have and forgetting Romans 3:20 -" For no one can one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are."

Remember Galatians 3:5 "Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—" The lip service Christians believe that our Lord God does these things only when you've kept the Ten Commandments, gotten rid of your weaves/jewellery and fasted, etc. Smack under Law where the devil can devour!

Remember Romans 8:32 "He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" Our heavenly Father freely gives us all things with Christ but those who only profess our Saviour believe that they need to sow a seed and do stuff usually prescribed by their church daddy before God can get them to the interview stage of their dream job! With Christ we don't give to get; we get to give.

Remember Galatians 3:13 "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”, 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."
But many are still being led by false preachers to pray prayers geared at breaking generational and other curses that Christ has redeemed us from! Worse, these false teachers usually tell you things like "you have to come back with your childhood picture next week because only the curses on your father's side have been broken!" Such teachers make believers undergo an endless cycle of fear and torment and make them feel that the battle is theirs and not the Lord's.

Because these beloved of God are led to believe that they need to "do their best and Jesus will do the rest," they fall into the category of those who practice part-Law and part-Grace. Not completely under law and not completely under grace; neither hot nor cold! Christ said He will vomit such out of His mouth! See Revelation 3.

Remember our blessed hope in Christ in 1 Thessalonians 4:
"16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words."

But these words do not bring comfort to those who only profess Christ but do not believe Him. It brings fear. They wonder if they will be caught up with Christ at His coming because they know that they really don't have it all together and they believe that it is their own efforts at keeping the law that will make them rapture-worthy; thus they reject the gift of righteousness that Christ died that we might have.

But for the one with Christ as His righteousness, the preaching of blessed hope in Christ (the Rapture) brings comfort because we know that it is a finished work - the final part of our redemption that Christ died that we might have. Freely given to all who believe.

Believers, by God's grace, don't be mere professors of Christ. Believe Him. Believe what He has accomplished for us. With Him, our heavenly Father gives us all things freely. Romans 8:32.

Remember our Saviour's words: "Without me, you can do nothing."

The Holy Spirit will Spirit will teach you all things.

Believe Right and you will Live Right
