No damnation for our sins in Christ.

Believer, you who have Christ as your righteousness and strength, no matter what it is you hear from anyone or from any pulpit, by Grace, hold fast to the word of Christ in John 5:24-

I say emphatically that anyone who listens to My message and believes in God who sent Me has eternal life, and will never be damned for his sins, but has already passed out of death into life."

The message of Christ is clearly stated in John 3 where Christ draws a parallel between the way that the Israelites got to escape death and the way that we who believe Him get to “not perish but have eternal life.” The Israelites that had been bitten by snakes only had to look at the bronze serpent on the pole - for us, Christ lifted up to free us from the power, pleasure and penalty of sin, grant us everlasting righteousness apart from the Law and give us eternal life. Believing this way is seeing Christ lifted up.

Imagine the Israelites trying to remove the snake venom from out of their wounds, rushing off to do burnt offerings/give gifts to God or doing their best to keep the Law in order to be healed and escape death instead of looking at the snake on the pole. They would have been distracted from looking at the snake on the pole with all of their futile efforts at doing what the law commands in order to be made whole. The effect (acts of sin) of the venom (sin nature) within isn't stalled by these futile activities (for us today, obeying the law in order to be saved.) Rather, it gets worse. Death is the result.

See the New Living Translation of John 5:24 - "I tell you the truth, those who listen to My message and believe in God who sent Me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life."

This is a truth that antichrist pastors cause churchgoers to shy away from: all of us have sins. Christ says we who believe will never be damned for these sins! Christ says we who believe have passed from death to life; this right-standing that we have with God and our eternal salvation in Christ has got nothing to do with useless attempts at keeping the Law or trying to be godly (be like God) by human effort as Eve was deceived into doing. We have it ONLY through the blood of Jesus. God Himself buttresses this point in Romans 5:9-

"And there is still much more to say of His unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in My sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God."

Does this truth mean that we can now go out and wallow in sins and live recklessly as antichrist pastors like to imply? Certainly not! Beloved of God, by Grace, don't let any wolf in sheep's clothing blind you to the power of God's saving Grace. Those same sins and thoughts that we all struggle with and which antichrist pastors preach that God will punish us for, Christ came to save us from them all. Matthew 1:21 says of Him:

"She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Also, Titus 2 says of Jesus Christ who is Grace-personified:

"He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds."

Notice "every kind of sin"? Did you know that even fear and worry are among the sins that Christ came to save us from? The "fearful" lead the pack of the hell-bound in Revelation 21:8-

"But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.)"

Understand that James 2:10 says- "For whosoever shall keep the whole Law yet stumble at one point, he is guilty of all."

So let's say a person feels that he has better standing with God than a sorcerer because his own sin is "just" being afraid to sleep in a house by himself or "just" lying about his location; James 2:10 shows us that in the eyes of the Law that he is trying to obey, he is just as guilty as a murderous sorcerer. This does not seem fair, until we are given Grace to see that the reason why we are not committing particular sins is because God did not allow us to get tempted beyond what we can bear - see 1 Corinthians 10-

12"So beware if you think it could never happen to you, lest your pride becomes your downfall. 13 We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust Him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously."

If God was not screening and filtering our temptations/trials, we would all see the extent of the sinfulness of human nature expressed in ourselves. Paul addressed this in Romans 1 where a group who “suppress the truth” of righteousness by faith (verses 16-19) DEVOLVED into sin after “God lifted off His restraining hand…” —

“24 This is why God lifted off His restraining hand and let them have full expression of their sinful and shameful desires…”

If God lifted off His restraining hand that restrains us from devolving into committing heinous sins and let us rely on our useless human effort and will-power at keeping the law in order to be saved or for whatever reason, we would all devolve into sin. Like Peter who was resolute in his self-determination to not deny Christ, if temptation came and it was up to us to save ourselves and be godly (be like God) by our useless will-power as antichrist pastors demand, we will all do the very things we swore not to do and copiously too, because the arm of flesh will fail.

The potential to commit heinous crimes is in everybody. God sees this potential and how favourable circumstances can make some people think that some sins are beneath them or that they can obey even a single jot of the Law by human effort (arm of flesh that will fail.) This reasoning is akin to man's physical flesh/body boasting that it can move about, play football and score goals by itself. The churchgoer in this situation thinks he has some good in him and does not realise (yet) that God's mercy in man is the "skeleton" that holds him upright, so he is always boasting about how God is blessing him because he has the good sense to obey the Law, pay tithe and avoid sins and how "I sowed my car and God gave me a jet."

Notice no Christ's finished work in this antichrist equation?

This churchgoer who sowed his car to get a jet does not realise that if God took away His restraining hand that restrains man from sins and which makes many churchgoers believe that they are or can be good by themselves, we would all devolve into committing the worst sins - collapse into the useless and helpless heap of flesh that we are of ourselves. There is no good in man of himself. See what God's word says of that will-power and ability to be good that many churchgoers still put their confidence in as was Paul's experience in Romans 7:18-

"For I know that nothing good lives within the flesh of my fallen humanity. The longings to do what is right are within me, but will-power is not enough to accomplish it."

God's word says human effort (the arm of flesh) will fail, is powerless and cannot. But Pride in the arm of flesh (human effort at obedience) that will fail says:

"No, I can. God must be wrong. I still have some good in me. I can keep the law and resist temptation to commit sin by my will-power. Faith without works is dead so I must and I can do works to prove that I have faith. Since I can do it, others must too. They are just lazy and love to sin.”

God's mercy - the "skeleton" that keeps many self-righteous churchgoers from crumpling into the useless and helpless heap of flesh that man is of himself - is why such churchgoers and even pastors can condemn and threaten people that they have classified as "core sinners" with hell fire, all without considering that these poor sheep are struggling to overcome their sins and are failing because the arm of flesh will fail.

Just as it was with Peter who ended up denying Christ three times after boasting that he would never, there is nothing like "I can never do that" in the dictionary of anybody who depends on his own will-power (arm of flesh) to live a godly life (be like God.)

Believer, don't let these antichrist pastors deceive you with their crooked interpretation of "Faith without works is dead" either. There are works (much fruit) under Grace. And it is not angels that do this work while us Grace children sit by idly. It is we who are under Grace that are doing these works, yet not us but Christ in us. It is the MINDSET or what we believe about how we are doing these works that makes the difference:

Do you believe that it is by your useless human effort (arm of flesh)? Such can boast in the flesh e.g. "I sowed my car and God gave me a jet."

Or do you know that "the arm of flesh will fail" and you would never be able to bear fruit to God if it were not for the Grace of God in you? Here, Christ gets all the glory.

Personally, I cannot count all of the benefits that the Lord loads me with daily but by Grace and only by Grace, far be it from me to chalk His many benefits in my life down to money that I gave to the needy, my witnessing for Him, some seed that I sowed, my (non-existent) self-effort at being a good person or my good deeds, as if this is why I am blessed. None of these things would I be able to do by my own human effort (arm of flesh.) Christ does it all. At different times, people have tried to give me credit for being a dedicated Christian, generous, a good parent or for being a hardworking employee and even tried to say that this is why God blesses me. But I know who I am of myself and apart from Christ in me- I am the worst of sinners! I would be wallowing in sins and utterly lacking in good deeds were it not for the Grace of God (undeserved, unearned, unmerited favour) - Christ Himself- working in me. Yet the Lord rewards us His Grace children for the works He did in, through and for us!

Beloved of God, this is the Good News - those sins, bad thoughts and shortcomings that we all struggle with (even fear/anxiety;) all of those sins in Revelation 21:8 which antichrist pastors use to threaten the flock and falsely say that God will punish you for unless you use your will-power to save yourself from them, Christ came to save us from them all. The moment you surrender your will to Him- putting no confidence whatsoever in your own ability to obey and utterly trusting/depending on Him for salvation from sin and death and godly living, you have passed from death to life and will never come under judgment. Never. Christ says so in John 5:24-

“I say emphatically that anyone who listens to My message and believes in God who sent Me has eternal life, and will never be damned for his sins, but has already passed out of death into life."

Believer, these words from our Saviour would be redundant if God's GIFT of eternal life to all who believe in Jesus Christ was for "godly" people who can free themselves from their sins. God justifies the ungodly, not Pharisee-type churchgoers whose confidence and salvation is found in their prideful works (I sowed my car and God gave me a jet) and non-existent will-power or ability to obey the Law that condemns all who try to keep it! These ones do not need salvation. They reject Christ's salvation and are their own saviour. And the arm of flesh will fail. Believer, let's not be found here.

Believer, in Christ, God sees us as righteous, "even though we are guilty of many sins." Romans 5:16. Antichrist pastors falsely call this truth WHICH IS WRITTEN IN GOD'S WORD blasphemy because they know that once you believe the truth of the gospel in your heart and confess it with your mouth, salvation from sin and death (including all earthly ills and death in hell) will follow. See this in Romans 5:16-17:

"And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one Man, Jesus Christ."

Beloved of God, Jesus Christ is Grace-personified. Titus 2:11 says of Him: "God’s marvelous grace has manifested in person, bringing salvation for everyone."

Verse 14 of the same Titus 2 says of Jesus Christ who is Grace-personified:

"He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds."

Beware of those who lead the flock to shun and reject Grace, even with deriding comments such as "hypergrace." Hypergrace aka God's super(hyper)-abounding Grace is just what we need to live in triumph over sin and death! See His word to you and I who believe Him in John 5:24-

“I say emphatically that anyone who listens to My message and believes in God who sent Me has eternal life, and will never be damned for his sins, but has already passed out of death into life."

In Christ, we will never be damned for our sins. He saves from those very sins and imperfections that keep you up at night ad which antichrist pastors say you will burn in hell for! All who humble themselves under the mighty hand of God by surrendering that prideful confidence in the flesh (human effort at obedience) to Him and utterly depend on Christ for salvation from sin and death will not be disappointed. Whatever puts worry or anxiety in your heart, even your sins and imperfections, Christ came to save us from them all. Trust in Him. Cast all your car upon Him for He cares for you.  He will help you. He loves us so.

Right believing always produces right living.
