In Christ, we are free from sin, the curse and death

Believer, by God's Grace, beware of antichrist pastors who boast in their own will-power (arm of flesh) to keep the Law and be godly (be like God;) those who say that their ability to keep the Law and live a godly life is why God is blessing them and pressure you do same. This is the antichrist spirit in action. By Grace, flee from any "pastor" that preaches even a whiff of dependence on human effort (arm of flesh) at attaining right-standing with God or at getting Him to bless.

The spirit of the antichrist is not anti-God. In fact, its hosts seem to be very godly, act all "holy holy" in a very believable manner and are always shouting about the need for you to be godly (be like God) from the rooftops; but their own method of you getting right with God and getting God's blessing is not through what Christ has done.

Like the very religious and seemingly godly Pharisees and teachers of religious Law who were against (anti) Christ, antichrist pastors strive to remove and replace the finished work of Christ in making the sinner who believes dead to the Law, righteous, godly and curse- free with human effort at achieving these blessings. Christ says of His work of setting all who believe in Him free from sin, the curse and death-

"Finished!"

See an example of the benefits of His finished work for our salvation in Romans 8:32-

"He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"

Believer, our heavenly Father gives us ALL things FREELY with Christ and not because of our puny fasts, attempts to obey the law, vows, and other human effort (arm of flesh)-driven works.

But these seemingly holy and religious antichrist pastors say:

"No. It is not finished. You have to do certain things like fast, sow seed, produce good works,  break generational curses and keep the Law by your own power in order to get God to give to you and be really free and saved."

This is also where antichrist pastors like to jump in to deceive the flock with their twisted misinterpretation of "faith without works is dead."

Such antichrists make it look like we "Grace children" have no works to show for our faith and just want to be sinning anyhow- as if Grace is synonymous with committing sin and having no works! Believer, not so with all who are under Grace! Take it from this child of Grace who used to feel intense guilt and agonize over the sin of responding with "12 o'clock" when the time was really 12.01! We Grace children hate sin, just like our heavenly Father in Christ. But we put no confidence in our own will-power or that non-existent good in man to make us live in triumph over sin or to produce good works. We depend utterly on God's Grace for salvation from sin and death, and save us He does.

Grace is a Person. His name is Jesus Christ. Titus 2:11 says of Him:

"God’s marvelous grace has manifested in person, bringing salvation for everyone."

Verse 14 of the same Titus 2 says: "He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds."

Believer, Christ came to free us from every kind of sin, including those sins that you struggle with that "pastor" says God will punish you for. Matthew 1:21 says of Him-

"She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."

But antichrist pastors try to remove and replace Christ's finished work for you and I with human effort at achieving the same work. Such subtly lead churchgoers to shun God's Salvation (even from sins) and His Grace for us to bear the fruit of godliness by pushing many to do the "good thing" of keeping the law in order to be godly (be like God)- the same deceit that Satan deployed with Eve in Eden. See the forbidden fruit as a picture of the Law that many churchgoers are actively trying to keep in order to be godly (be like God) in Romans 7:8-12 (MSG version.)

Such teach dependence on the arm of flesh/will-power at keeping the Law and doing "works" to make one right with God and enjoy His freely-given blessings in Christ. This is the height of pride and foolishness - to think that of ourselves we have some "good" in us or that we can produce good works by our own will-power. See what God's word says of this "good" in man and his "will-power" as was Paul's experience in Romans 7:18-

"For I know that nothing good lives within the flesh of my fallen humanity. The longings to do what is right are within me, but will-power is not enough to accomplish it."

But Pride in the arm of flesh (human effort) that will fail says: "No, I can. God must be wrong. I still have some good in me. I can keep the law, do good works and overcome sins by my will-power."

Reminds one of Peter who thought Christ was wrong when He told Him about his then upcoming denials. Like Peter who boasted in his own strength and ended up breaking the Law, many churchgoers  put confidence in their arm of flesh and wrongly believe that they have the will-power to do what is right and keep the law. But the only reason why we are not committing particular sins and why many think that they can keep the Law and do good is because God did not allow us to get tempted beyond what we can bear.

The arm of flesh (human effort at obedience) will fail. The potential of committing heinous crimes is in everybody. God sees this potential and how favourable circumstances can make some people think that some sins are beneath them and that they can keep the law and will "never do that" -like Peter. The earlier every believer understands that of ourselves, there is no good in anybody and utterly trust in Christ for salvation from sins and for right living, the better. Christ is the good in us. This is why you can never find a true believer in Christ boasting thus:

"God blessed financially me because I pay my tithe regularly" or

"God healed me because I sowed a mighty seed" or

"I am now a parent because I was kind to children in orphanages" or

"I am free from satanic oppression because I fasted for 70 days."

Notice no Christ saving, providing or doing anything in these stories of salvation from earthly ills? No God giving us all things FREELY with Christ as it is written in Romans 8:32-

"He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"

Such pastors and leaders who lead their congregation to depend on their own human effort at getting God to bless are like Moses when he struck the Rock instead of speaking to it as the Lord God said. Water still came out of the Rock, but not because Moses struck the Rock. Water came out because God is good and does not want His people to suffer. But because of Moses action of presenting God as a God who will not bless His people unless man first does something, God was angry with Moses and prevented Him from taking His people into the promised land. Joshua (Yeshua; Jesus in English) led the people instead.

Christ gets all the glory for all the works of faith that we Grace children get to do and the abundance of blessings that we FREELY receive from God in Him. In Him, God fills us to overflowing with His goodness and mercy so much that with what is spilling over, we can't help but love Him and live right. In Him, we get to love, give, do exploits, live a life of moral excellence that exceeds that which the Law demands; even give beyond the lawful regulation of the tithe, yet not us but Christ in us.

Right believing alway produces right living.
