No such thing as generational or other curse in the life of believers in Christ.

Beloved  of God, God's word says in Galatians 3:13-

"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),"

Beware of Satan's mouthpieces behind pulpits who profess Christ but invite churchgoers to come and fast for 70 days in order to be redeemed from generational and other curses that Christ has redeemed all who believe from- as if Christ's hanging on the cross means nothing! Believer, beware of such. This is what the antichrist spirit does - it tries to replace Christ's finished work with the seemingly good thing of human striving at attaining salvation and godliness aka being like God.

The spirit of the antichrist is not anti-God. It is antichrist.

Like the "holy holy" Pharisees, its carriers are against Christ and try to remove the focus of His people from His finished work of saving us. Like the antichrist Pharisees, they seem to be very religious/godly, preach strongly against sin and are always shouting the need for churchgoers to be godly from the rooftops- but their own means of attaining godliness (being like God) is by human striving and not through the sacrifice of Jesus.

For example, such point out sins but never point the sinner to Christ as the One who saves from sins; God's word says of Christ our Saviour in Matthew 1:21-

"She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

But the antichrist pastors act like "other people" just want to wallow in sins and they are the only ones who hate sin. Such push the sinner who is held captive and burdened by his sins to go and figure out a way to free himself or else face punishment and hell. Christ's finished work has been removed from the equation of salvation and replaced with self-effort. The same thing is being preached concerning other areas where believers should be enjoying God's unmerited favour. Just last Sunday, one popular pastor posted this prayer on his Facebook page-

"Almighty God I present my family to you today, please intervene, let there be peace, let there be joy, break every yoke, erase every curse and just let all be well in Jesus name."

This prayer seems harmless enough. Some might even call it good. But notice the subtle implication that believers in Christ are still living under the curse and need curses to be erased from their lives? Believer, by Grace, let's take our blessed brains to church. There is nothing like generational curse in the life of a believer in Christ. Own your gifts of Grace (undeserved, unearned, unmerited favour) by confessing it anytime such pastors try to label you as being under what Christ our Physician has redeemed us from.

Imagine going to the hospital for a routine checkup and receiving a "healthy" diagnosis from your Physician. Now imagine someone who is not even a doctor telling you that you have cancer and you willingly saying "Amen" to their useless and even harmful chemotherapy.

Many helpless sheep who follow this popular man and others like him were replying to the post with "Amen," - essentially admitting that they were cursed  when Christ hung on the cross to free us from every curse! Believer, the curse (including generational curses) was instituted by God Himself. See Numbers 14:18-

"The LORD is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet He does not leave the guilty unpunished; He punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation."

No amount of "Amen," fasting or works done by human effort can undo God's work. God Himself provided the Way for our salvation. God the Just is perfectly satisfied with Christ's hanging on the cross for us to redeem us from every curse and has declared all of us who believe in Him curse-free.

Those who depend on their own human effort at obedience (law-keeping) and their human striving to make them punishment or curse-free while calling on Jesus as antichrist pastor preach shun the sacrifice of Christ and His benefit of redeeming us from the curse of the Law. This practice is not Christianity but a watered-down version of Judaism with the extra complication of Christ. This horrid mixture of part-Law and part-Grace  is the "neither cold nor hot" that Christ speaks of in Revelation 3. Such are under Law. See the fate of all who depend on their obedience to the Law or are doing its works in order to earn salvation/get God to bless in Galatians 3:10-

"But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law."

See the Contemporary English Version-  "Anyone who tries to please God by obeying the Law is under a curse. The Scriptures say, “Everyone who doesn’t obey everything in the Law is under a curse.”

The one who expects God to bless him because of his efforts at obeying the Law and his works has to keep the whole Law.  No one can. Not even the Pharisees who knew the Law back to back. We don't even know most of the over 600 Mosaic laws! Such who try are not only under the generational curse but every single curse of the Law according to Deuteronomy 28:15.

Because God loved us so, He gave His own Son to become a curse for us and to free us from the demands of the law. Believing Him is the only way to be free from the curse and it is FREE for all who believe.

By Grace, beware of antichrist pastors. Such derisively describe the message of Christ as "hypergrace," or license to sin and say that Grace (who is Christ Himself) will make believers go on sinning sprees. BUT GOD'S WORD SAYS DIFFERENTLY! His word says that only by receiving His abundance of Grace and His gift of righteousness to us in Christ do we get to live in triumph over sin and death through Jesus Christ: Romans 5:16-17:

16 “And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one Man, Jesus Christ.”

By God's Grace, beware of antichrist pastors who lead you to trust in your own human effort (arm of flesh) at living a godly life of triumph over sin and death but distrust the power of the Holy Spirit to transform you from inside out. Peter's three-time denial of Christ shows us that there is nothing like "I can never do that" in the dictionary of anybody. The potential to commit heinous crimes is in everybody. God sees this potential and how favourable circumstances can make some people think that some sins are beneath them or that they can keep the law and fast to break generational curses- all efforts in futility.

Boasting about how "I sowed my car and God gave me a jet" is akin to the human flesh boasting about how it ran a marathon and scored a goal, forgetting that it would be a useless and immobile heap of flesh without a skeleton. God's mercy is the "skeleton" that holds many such churchgoers and unbelievers upright. This is His goodness that leads to repentance. He does not want anyone to perish. If that skeleton of His mercy is taken away, everyone who thinks they are being righteous/good by themselves will see the extent of the sinfulness of man in themselves. Paul addressed this in Romans 1 where a group who “suppress the truth” of righteousness by faith (verses 16-19) DEVOLVED into sin after “God lifted off His restraining hand…” —

24 This is why God lifted off His restraining hand and let them have full expression of their sinful and shameful desires…”

If God lifted off His restraining hand that restrains us from devolving into committing heinous sins and let us rely on our useless human effort and will-power (arm of flesh) at keeping the law in order to be saved or for whatever reason, we would all devolve into sin. Like Peter who was resolute in his determination to not deny Christ, if temptation comes and it was up to us to save ourselves, we will all do the very things we swore not to do and copiously too, because the arm of flesh will fail. The earlier man realises that of ourselves, we are and can do nothing, the better.

As believers in Christ, we put no confidence in the flesh (human effort,) and only by God's Grace.. For all who believe, Jesus Christ "The Lord our Righteousness" is  the One who lifts us up and keeps us upright. The arm of flesh will fail but Jesus never fails. This is what He came to do:

Believer, this is what Christ came to do- "He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds." Titus 2:14.

The arm of flesh (human effort at obedience/bearing fruit to God)  will fail but Jesus never fails. Never trust yourself or rely on what you think you can do. Trust in Christ. He is Saviour. Always. Call on Him empty of your baggage of works done to get God to bless. He will help you. With Christ the True Vine as our sole Source of Righteousness and Strength, we His branches get to bear "much fruit."

Right believing always produces right living
