Righteous through the blood of Jesus.

Believer in Christ, never judge your standing before God by the state of your life or the sins that you still struggle with. Rather, judge your state by your standing before our heavenly Father. And this is your standing in the sight of God - ONLY because of the shed blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ: Romans 5:9-

"And there is still much more to say of His unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in My sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God."

This Truth is too hard to swallow for those who are still deceiving themselves that they have some good in them and can keep the law by their own will-power aka arm of flesh. See what God's word says of this "will-power" that many churchgoers think they have and can use to do good    from Paul's experience in Romans 7:18-

"For I know that nothing good lives within the flesh of my fallen humanity. The longings to do what is right are within me, but will-power is not enough to accomplish it."

God's word says human effort (the arm of flesh) will fail, is powerless and cannot. But Pride in the arm of flesh (human effort at obedience) that will fail says:

"No, I can. God must be wrong. I still have some good in me. I can keep the law, produce good works and resist temptation to commit sin by my will-power and sheer determination. Other people are just lazy but I am hard-working. I do my best to be godly (be like God!) and can never commit that kind of sin.”

Reminds one of Peter telling Jesus that He was wrong when He told him of his upcoming denials:)

Believer, of ourselves, there is no good in anyone of us. Christ is our good. Of ourselves, none of us have it all together! Our earthly walk may not reflect this God's gift of righteousness that we have in Christ just yet. But through the blood of Jesus, God sees and treats us as righteous, "even though we are guilty of many sins." (Romans 5:16.)

We might still have fears, sins, addictions and shortcomings that we struggle with. But our earthly state and many imperfections do not change how our heavenly Father sees us through the blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ. In fact, you see those sins, addictions and shortcomings that antichrist pastors say God will punish us for unless we save ourselves from them by our useless will-power aka arm of flesh, Christ came to free us from them all. Titus 2:14 says of Him:

"He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds."

Also Matthew 1:21- "She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Christ came to save us from every kind of sin, even those sins in Revelation 21:8 that antichrist pastors use to threaten God's people without pointing the flock to Christ as Saviour from sins:

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Beloved of God, God so loved us that He sent His own Son to save us from these same sins so that we might "not perish but have everlasting life" says John 3:16. No sin is too big for Him to save the believing sinner who acknowledges his sins and his helplessness in saving himself from them, even those sins in Revelation 21:8 above.

Beloved, by Grace, stop trying to save yourself with your puny arm of flesh and heed God's counsel in Isaiah 30:15-17:

"God, the Master, The Holy of Israel,
    has this solemn counsel:
“Your salvation requires you to turn back to me
and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves.
Your strength will come from settling down
    in complete dependence on me—
The very thing
    you’ve been unwilling to do...."

Believer, we are "willing to do" by God's grace alone. When those fears and doubts about our standing before Him creep in, let's keep on casting those cares on Jesus who always tenderly cares for us. Let's keep on believing, receiving and confessing God's abundance of Grace (undeserved, unearned, unmerited favour) towards us and His gift of Righteousness to us in Christ. His word will never return to Him void and He has pronounced us righteous through the blood of Jesus. Nothing, not even our state of affairs or our sins (that He came to free us from!) or can change this truth that we are righteous by faith in Christ and not by our puny efforts at obedience.

This is the crux of the message of the Christ: Righteousness by faith. In Christ, God sees us as righteous, "even though we are guilty of many sins." See Romans 5:16 below.

Antichrist pastors derisively describe the message of Christ as "hypergrace," try to introduce the letter that kills (human effort at attaining godliness) to our union Christ who suffered to make us godly and say God's Grace is a license to sin, but God's word says differently! His word says only by receiving His abundance of Grace and His gift of righteousness to us in Christ do we get to live in triumph over sin and death:

"And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one Man, Jesus Christ." Romans 5:16-17.

Grace - undeserved, unearned, unmerited favour- is the gospel of Christ. None of self-effort. All of Christ. He transforms our lives, frees us from every kind of sin and fills us to overflowing with His goodness and mercy so much that with what is spilling over, we cannot but love Him and be a blessing to others. We get to do exploits. We get to love, live a life of moral excellence, bear "much fruit" aka works of faith and give beyond the lawful regulation of the tithe - yet not us but Christ in us.

Faith without works is dead. Being in Christ without having works of faith to show for it is akin to being submerged under water without getting wet. The fruit of the Spirit is the "wet." Godly living is the "wet." We get to bear "much fruit" by being one with Christ the True Vine. But many branches are trying to produce fruit by human effort aka arm of flesh (law-keeping)- an effort in futility.

When you seek God's kingdom (Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit) and HIS righteousness (not your own, of ourselves, there is none righteous,) all these things will be added unto you, including Grace to live right. For all who believe, having Christ as our righteousness, Christ Himself gets all the glory for all the good works that we get to do in Him. This is why it is difficult for us to boast about how God blesses us because of what we did - our puny efforts at keeping the law, fasting and sowing seed to ginger God to bless. We know that we can do nothing without Christ. Every good work that we do and every blessing that we receive from our "Abba,Father" is FREELY GIVEN and we freely receive because of what Christ has done-

"He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" Romans 8:32.

Beloved of God, stop Trying and start Trusting the One who sees you as you are. He is God Almighty. Of ourselves, we are weak and we are nothing. He knows how frail, how lacking in righteousness no matter our best efforts and how screwed up we are of ourselves. We have all trampled on His Law; Yet He sent His own Son Jesus Christ to be our Righteousness and our Strength. Our Shepherd. God's beloved, hear our heavenly Father say to you:

“I love you with an everlasting love;
this is why in My grace I draw you to Me." (Jeremiah 31:3)

He will help you. This is Grace- undeserved, unearned, unmerited favour.

When your believing is right, right living will follow.
